What we're eating this week

You might notice on our menus for this week (and in the weeks to come) that there are a lot of beef meals. That’s because right now we have a lot of beef. Last week I picked up a half of a cow that we had butchered, including steaks, roasts, hamburger, etc, and also a half of a cow that we had made into all hamburger. That means a lot of beef. My freezers are stuffed full. I’ve decided that’s a good problem to have 🙂

Monday: Lunch: sloppy joes
       Dinner: leftovers

Tuesday: Lunch: Chicken nuggets/fish sticks
        Dinner: Porcupine meatballs

Wednesday: Lunch: Pizza
          Dinner: Beef tips and gravy

Thursday: Lunch: French dip sandwiches
         Dinner: Kielbasa

Friday: Lunch: Grilled ham & cheese
       Dinner: Beef stew & cheesy cornbread muffins

Saturday: Lunch: Macaroni & cheese
         Dinner: Spaghetti

Sunday: Lunch: leftovers
       Dinner: Pizza
