Project 365, Days 251-260

Day 251: Time again for some new nails

Day 252: It’s this guy’s 22 birthday. He’s home for the summer but soon will be heading back to Chicago for another year of school.

Day 253: Rest and relaxation time for Nala

Day 254: This little girl is getting so much better at walking on a leash. She love walk time

Day 255: After a walk, what’s better than a nap? She’s great at sleeping in strange positions

Day 256: A customer came in tonight upset about all the big spiders outside the store. This is one of the three I could find. It’s only about a 1/4 inch, so I don’t know if these are the ones the customer meant. I hope there’s nothing bigger out there. I hate spiders.

Day 257: I’m not sure what I came in contact with, but I have this rash in several places. It itches a lot.

Day 258: When I wake up from a nap on the couch and Nala also decided to nap, this is the view I get.

Day 259: I’m not the only one who like to take a nap on the couch.

Day 260: At work, we sometimes have our “ducks in a row”

Project 365, Days 221-230

Days 221, 222, 223: All three of these photos show how happy our dogs were to have us home after a long (in their minds) vacation. They will not leave my side at all.

Day 224: It’s been so hot around here. One of our local grocery stores is offering it’s customers free cold bottles of water while they shop. I think this is a great idea.

Day 225: I came home from work to a nice surprise. My hubby got rid of an old, ugly chair and cleaned the dining/living room. Yea!!

Day 226: A couple of boxes are all that’s left of my daughter’s stuff in her room. She moved out a couple of weeks ago, but it didn’t really hit me until today. My baby has left the nest to try “adulting’

Day 227: I decided to clean the carpets today. This is the water that come out of the carpets. I think they needed to be cleaned. Yuk!!

Day 228: One of my jobs at work it to make sure there are carts available for the customers. Our cart pusher had trouble today keeping the rows nice and neat but at least there were carts.

Day 229: July 4th: Nala does not like fireworks. This is how she tried to hide from them.

Day 230: Time for new nails

Project 365, Days 201-209

Day 201: On Wednesdays we wear pink.

Day 202: It seems our work computer is having a hard time finding me. Maybe it’s a sign that I shouldn’t be at work today

Day 203: Parking lot sunset

Day 204: Nala loves to play with her friend Bernie

Day 205: Now that Janelle is gone, Blizzard has become my constant companion. Even when I want to sleep.

Day 206: Chinese lunch date with this guy.

Day 207: A little pre-vacation pampering

Day 208: Finally, after 7 months, we have a washing machine again.

Day 209: This is one thing I never thought I would need. It’s now required for my job to have a bartender license. I don’t tend bar, but I am licensed to do it.

Project 365, Days 121-130

Day 121: It was a day beautiful enough to make me think that maybe spring is almost here. But, since this is Wisconsin, I won’t hold my breath.

Day 122: Not sure if it’s dance class or writing class. Janelle must think it’s dance class

Day 123: Nala is now 6 months old

Day 124: His girl isn’t home right now, so Blizzard will just wait outside her bedroom door until she returns.

Day 125: After a trip to the podiatrist and a 9 hour shift, my foot hurt too bad to walk anymore. So, I used an electric cart while shopping.

Day 126: Nala really needs a haircut

Day 127: The dogs think they are entitled to some of my food. Silly dogs

Day 128: Standing guard. Against what I am not entirely sure, but it’s something scary and it’s outside the window.

Day 129: This week it’s both Janelle and Jessy dancing during class

Day 130: She finally got her haircut and is looking fluffy and adorable again

Project 365, Days 111-120

Day 111: A sleepy puppy. Usually she just uses her bed for digging but every once in a while, she actually sleeps there.

Day 112: Blizzard needs a haircut. He’s starting to look a little shaggy

Day 113: Every time I mop the floor, Nala has to roll around on it. It’s like she’s trying to help dry it or something.

Day 114: I’ve been working on a couple of small projects around the house. One of them is to set up an office area for myself. Moved my desk downstairs and I’m ready to go.

Day 115: Another project is setting up the fish tank. I got it moved to it’s proper location and cleaned out. Now we have to decide exactly what we want in it.

Day 116: One of Nala’s favorite toys is my old cow slipper. She loves to attack it and bury her face in it.

Day 117: Can anyone explain to me why we, a store in Wisconsin, have gift cards with the Chicago Bulls on them but none with the Green Bay Packers?

Day 118 : Nala thinks she has a sweet tooth. Her goal is to get the bag of Easter candy.

Day 119: More Nala, this time digging in my basket of blankets.

Day 120: I didn’t take this photo, and it’s not recent, but it’s important to me. It’s our first family photo, taken in Novosibirsk, Siberia, shortly after we were able to leave the orphanage with our two boys. We were waiting for the government to process the documents that would allow us to leave the country and return home. It was 21 years ago today.

Project 365, Days 71-80

Day 71: Only I could break a nail two days after getting them done while closing the bathroom stall door.

Day 72: We went to see Phantom of the Opera at the Fireside Theater in Fort Atkinson. Great show and great food.

Day 73: I do not know what she is doing. No clue. I’m not even sure she knows.

Day 74: One of my bullet journal layouts for February

Day 75: Please, may I have your popcorn? I really like it. I promise, if you turn your head away for a second or two, I will grab the bowl and run away with it so you won’t have to watch me eat it.

Day 76: What do you think of my hiding spot? Nobody will find me here.

Day 77: It’s supposed to get cold and snowy. Maybe I better fill my gas tank before the weather turns nasty.

Day 78: And…here comes the nasty weather. I have no window scraper in my car, so I get to sit and wait for the defrost to clean off the windshield so I can drive home

Day 79: Nala loves to it right behind me and “help” when I am working on the laptop

Day 80: Test time in geology class

Project 365, Days 51-60

I am so far behind in posting these. How does time slip away so easily?

Day 51: That’s a normal face for my little Nala. She loves playing in her water dish and her face is always wet because of it.

Day 52: This is what the floor looks like every day because Nala loves to play in her water.

Day 53: She’s trying so hard to be patient and wait for whatever treat might be coming her way.

Day 54: Tried this candy bar today at work. Was not impressed. Give me chocolate any day

Day 55: Nala has the annoying habit of scratching at Janelle’s door whenever she feels like playing with somebody, even if it’s 2:00 am. Janelle came up with this solution tonight to prevent her sleep from getting interrupted. I think I will buy a baby/puppy gate for her.

Day 56: It is so cold here right now. With the doors in the front of the store constantly opening all day, it is cold in the store. I have resorted to putting hand warmers in my pockets to help keep warm.

Day 57: Sleepy puppy

Day 58: Dinner out today with Roland and Janelle.

Day 59: Sitting in the parking lot after work. Waiting for a ride because my battery is dead.

Day 60: She just had a bath and a haircut. She’s looking much smaller and fluffier.
