Project 365, Days 181-200

Day 181: Yes, I redid my nails again

Day 182: On today’s bike ride we rode up the ledge. I didn’t make it all the way up, but at least I got part of the way

Day 183: There’s a storm north of us, over the lake

Day 184: More sunset

Day 185: These guys got haircuts today. They were way past due for one. I think Blizzard looks a little annoyed about it

Day 186: A very pink sunset

Day 187: Nala and Blizzard bonding time

Day 188: All set up for our weekend camping trip. This is our annual trip with our church at Green Lake

Day 189: Green Lake

Day 190: Sydney and Janelle relaxing at the campsite

Day 191: Greg didn’t go camping with us, but he was busy while we were gone. He cleaned out half of the garage

Day 192: We borrowed our neighbor’s bike rack to take our bikes along on vacation. We did a trial run, to make sure it worked and we knew what we were doing

Day 193: Sometimes our bike rides involve a stop at the grocery store to pick up something we need

Day 194: Roland usually bikes faster than I do, so this is my normal view of him. Someday I will be able to keep up with him

Day 195: On the road to getting in shape. These leggings are a size M. I still see bulges where I don’t want them, but the bulges must be getting smaller because my clothes size is going down

Day 196: Our weekend fun included going to a local baseball game. After the game, the kids got to run the bases. The last runner was a very small girl and all the players got down to her level to give her a high 5 as she crossed home plate

Day 197: More weekend fun, this time a hike. The path was quite muddy, even covered with water in some areas

Day 198: She is such a naughty puppy sometimes. She will climb just about anywhere to get food

Day 199: Flowers on our bike trail are blooming

Day 200: Time for a change of nails

Project 365, Day 101-120

Day 101: Blizzard is looking a little shaggy. I think I need to give him a bit of a trim soon

Day 102: Eric is moving into a new apartment and, since he is out of town for work, asked if I could quick clean his old apartment. I’m not sure I can clean this mess quickly

Day 103: Sunset over the lake

Day 104: March !st, the month when spring begins. It’s not looking like spring tonight

Day 105: It’s looking way too wintry outside

Day 106: Janelle colored my hair again. She tried lightening the ends this time and did a great job

Day 107: Nala takes after me. She seems to like Mt Dew

Day 108: Nala loves to do this. She stands on her hind legs and waves her front paws in the air. There’s no logical pattern to when she does it so I haven’t figured out what it means

Day 109: This little guy is hanging out by the computer at work.

Day 110: She’s working on her tan

Day 111: She may be my dog, but she loves my husband, too

Day 112: I had to get away from Walmart on my lunch break today. Some days, I can’t deal with it any more

Day 113: She knows I have food and she knows she’s not supposed to jump up and get it

Day 114: We just finished Janelle’s application to cosmetology school

Day 115: It’s wet out, but I still had to go out and push carts. The joys of being a CSM

Day 116: New nails. I wanted green for St Patricks Day, but I don’t like bright green, so I chose this shade instead

Day 117: It’s raining and freezing and the town is starting to flood. Some areas are evacuated but we only have some standing water

Day 118: The random things we find at Walmart. Didn’t know we sold styrofoam heads

Day 119: Remembering the day we first met these two adorable boys, 22 years ago

Day 120: She never sleeps in a normal position

Project 365, Days 61-80

Day 61: Time to make yogurt

Day 62: This is what happens when I try to workout. Nala decides to “help”

Day 63: Nala is having a slight static electricity problem with her ears today

Day 64: It’s really cold today. Nala has found the perfect spot to keep warm

Day 65: Blizzard likes sleeping on my pillow. The problem is that he doesn’t like to give it up when I want to sleep

Day 66: It’s starting to snow. We’re supposed to get quite a bit of it this week.

Day 67: The dogs, especially Nala, love the snow. She doesn’t want to come in

Day 68: I’ve been eating healthy all month. But, sometimes pizza is a good choice.

Day 69: The temperatures aren’t getting above zero degrees. It’s so cold in the store that I need hand warmers just to do my job.

Day 70: It’s so cold that snow on the rug in front of our door (inside the house) isn’t melting. This snow is from over 12 hours ago

Day 71: We picked up Janelle’s car from the repairman. I think he forgot to fix something.

Day 72: Another week, another blizzard, with more cold predicted to follow it

Day 73: Yes, that is the actual temperature. Not wind chill.

Day 74: Today was one of those days where at least half the store called in because of weather. So. management bought donuts for those of us that showed up to work.

Day 75: New nails for Valentines Day

Day 76: Nala got a much needed haircut. Because of the cold, she now gets to wear this adorable sweatshirt to keep warm outside.

Day 77: Showing off her new haircut and her new collar. Plus, a little mess around her mouth from eating human food

Day 78: She knows she’s not allowed to eat off my plate, so this is what she is doing. How close can she get?

Day 79: Janelle is adulting. That means she is making her own doctor’s appointments. She’s not happy about it.

Day 80: Not really a photo, but I had to screenshot this Facebook post of my oldest. He’s officially in a relationship. This mama is thrilled.

Project 365, Days 41-60

Day 41: I am a full grown adult and I still need to roll up the cuffs of my sleeves because they are too long.

Day 42: She’s my dog but she loves to sit by my hubby

Day 43: Janelle dyed my hair. I was getting a little too gray. I like the red.

Day 44: It’s a dark picture, but it’s the best I could get of these two having fun in the snow.

Day 45: Day of of no soda. I’ve switched some of my beverages to lemonade and the rest to water.

Day 46: Her favorite spot to sit–on my husband’s shoulder

Day 47: Shaggy dog. He really needs a haircut

Day 48: When the stockmen at work don’t quite get their job done the right way 🙂

Day 49: Somebody got into my spaghetti and now has an orange face.

Day 50: Blizzard finally got his haircut. This used to be his fur. He’s not looking as good as a professional job, but it’s better than it was. I still have to do his face.

Day 51: It’s January and instead of snow, we have rain and puddles

Day 52: Janelle got the “Happy to Help” award for the month at work

Day 53: I still have to finish Blizzard’s face. He isn’t too thrilled with letting me do it

Day 54: It was health awareness day at work. I got a water bottle and a stress ball, plus a candy cane. Not sure what the candy cane has to do with wellness, but oh well

Day 55: New nails for winter

Day 56: Janelle has been practicing making herself look injured for a photo shoot she and her friends are doing to promote awareness for human trafficking

Day 57: I want a belly rub please

Day 58: Took the Christmas tree down and put the room back the way it was before

Day 59: I have no idea why somebody thought it was necessary to put these light switch plates in security cases. They’re only worth a few cents. Just another day at Walmart

Day 60: I went shopping for workout clothes and was able to get 2 sizes smaller than before Christmas.

Project 365, Days 1-20

Day 1: A perfect way to spend my birthday. Relaxing with a dog and the really soft, warm blanket my daughter got me.

Day 2: Getting ready for Thanksgiving. Peanut butter pie is in the freezer

Day 3: Blizzard doesn’t want me to fold the laundry today. I won’t argue with him.

Day 4: Nala loves her new treats, even though they make her look like she’s smoking

Day 5: Working retail on Thanksgiving means no time off. This year I got to work with my lovely daughter.

Day 6: Getting ready for next year’s vacation. The planning binder is ready to go.

Day 7: Christmas season is starting, so it’s time to watch Elf.

Day 8: Janelle and Gabe decorated our Christmas tree this year.

Day 9: We ended up making a quick trip to Chicago to bring Greg back to school after his car broke down. The weather was awful.

Day 10: This is how I spent my shift–on the computer doing CBLs (compter based learning). Not my favorite way to spend a shift.

Day 11:Stockings and mantel decor is done. Nala is waiting for hr stocking to get filled. She’s going to be waiting a while

Day 12: New nails for the Christmas season

Day 13: I found this ugly creature on Nala today. Totally gross

Day 14: Santa was at Walmart today

Day 15: The strange positions that dogs sleep in always amaze me.

Day 16: Blizzard is pouting and hiding. I had to get some crud out of his fur and this is his favorite hiding spot.

Day 17: Doing pain relief for a sore hip. It’s making getting through a 9 hour shift very difficult.

Day 18: Two sweet puppers keeping me company while I ice my sore hip

Day 19: Silly pupper. All she wants is a belly rub

Day 20: Janelle and her friend got tattoos today. Janelle designed hers on her own.

Project 365, Days 351-360

Day 351: It’s been raining a lot lately. Our driveway is becoming a lake again.

Day 352: Still gloomy, gray and rainy for another day

Day 353: It’s really dark and gloomy today.

Day 354: Time for new nails again

Day 355: One of my co-workers bought lotion for all of us to use, since we’re getting into hand-sanitizer season and our hands are always dry. “Stress relief”. Maybe to relieve stress, we all just quit?

Day 356: Blizzard is back home with us for a while. I brought a treat home for him.

Day 357: The rain has turned into snow.

Day 358: Janelle gave me a hair cut and a new dye job. She chose the color. I suggested reddish brown. She chose red. I love it.

Day 359: Best friends

Day 360: Even old man Blizzard finds the energy to run and play with Nala. I think he missed his sister.

Project 365, Days 341-350

Day 341: Nala must be cold today. She’s staying curled up in the blanket

Day 342: It’s Janelle’s birthday today. I’m using a picture I took earlier this year since I don’t see her everyday to take new ones. My baby is 19.

Day 343: Nala loves to help me mop the floor. And by help, I mean roll around on the wet floor until it dries.

Day 344: It looks like it might be time to rake some leaves.

Day 345: This is where she sits while I am at my desk.

Day 346: It goose season. We frequently have geese coming up on our lawn.

Day 347: I turned my back and Nala stole my pizza.

Day 348: I think somebody wants to play ball

Day 349: I don’t usually post any type of profanity or such, but this time I couldn’t help myself. This is what I found on the bathroom wall at work. Why do people find it necessary to do this? Regardless of your political views, this is not right and not the right way to get your message across.

Day 350: I got a new hoodie, in honor of the Brewers excellent season this year. Didn’t make the World Series, but they had a great year.
