Project 365, Days 291-300

Day 291: It was a soup kind of day. Loaded baked potato soup, to be exact

Day 292: Beautiful sunset

Day 293: Nala went for a walk and ended up wading a bit into the lake. I now have a cold, wet pupper

Day 294: Sunrise today. I prefer to sleep through sunrises and view sunsets, but I have to work early, so it’s a sunrise day

Day 295: Nala loves car rides, especially when we let her stick her head out of the window.

Day 296: Dance at our church’s annual worship celebration

Day 297: Nala got a bath and now looks rather sad and pathetic.

Day 298: I cleaned out our freezer today. It was way past time and it’s so nice to actually have room in the freezer for the stuff that’s supposed to be there

Day 299: Mosquitoes are horrible this year, because of all the rain we’ve gotten. They are getting into the house by the hundreds.

Day 300: The mosquitoes are so bad in the house, I have to wear this mosquito repellent bracelet.

Project 365, Days 281-290

Day 281:¬† Please, mom? May have a bite of your food? I’m really hungry. It’s been at least 15 minutes since I ate

Day 282: It’s a dark, dreary, rainy Sunday

Day 283: The rain yesterday revealed a leak around our kitchen window. It caused a bubble in our paint and did some damage to the drywall under it. Time for some repairs

Day 284: Time for some new nails. I love these cat’s eye nails

Day 285: Sunset at work

Day 286: She does this when she sees her reflection in the window. She’ll sit like this for a long time, trying to figure out who the other dog is

Day 287: Attacking the killer cow slipper. It’s one of her favorite toys

Day 288: My mother-in-law had a small party for her 90th birthday. I made this cake for the occasion. I think it turned out very nice

Day 289: The immediate family at the birthday party

Day 290: The whole group that got together for the 90th birthday party

Project 365, Days 271-280

Day 271: After work, we went to hear the Kids From Wisconsin concert in the park. The theme this year was Broadway musicals. It was so much fun.

Day 272: Somebody goofed. Green Bay Raiders? I think not

Day 273: Another evening spent doing someone else’s job–pushing carts again

Day 274: Summer is over for Greg. He’s loading up his car and heading back to Chicago for another semester at Moody Bible Institute.

Day 275: This weekend we went to a water ski show in Beaver Dam, We’ve thought about going in the past, but this was the first time we actually¬† went.

Day 276: It’s tomato season

Day 277: All the tomatoes were turned into sauce today. It smells so good in the house right now

Day 278: She loves having this window open so she can bark at all the squirrels running through our backyard.

Day 279: The carts are supposed to be in nice, neat rows. Evidently, somebody didn’t get that message. This is how they looked when I got to work today.

Day 280: Please, may I have some of your food?

Project 365, Days 251-260

Day 251: Time again for some new nails

Day 252: It’s this guy’s 22 birthday. He’s home for the summer but soon will be heading back to Chicago for another year of school.

Day 253: Rest and relaxation time for Nala

Day 254: This little girl is getting so much better at walking on a leash. She love walk time

Day 255: After a walk, what’s better than a nap? She’s great at sleeping in strange positions

Day 256: A customer came in tonight upset about all the big spiders outside the store. This is one of the three I could find. It’s only about a 1/4 inch, so I don’t know if these are the ones the customer meant. I hope there’s nothing bigger out there. I hate spiders.

Day 257: I’m not sure what I came in contact with, but I have this rash in several places. It itches a lot.

Day 258: When I wake up from a nap on the couch and Nala also decided to nap, this is the view I get.

Day 259: I’m not the only one who like to take a nap on the couch.

Day 260: At work, we sometimes have our “ducks in a row”

Project 365, Days 241-250

Day 241: All tired out (finally) after playing hard

Day 242: A dark, dreary, stormy type of day on the lake

Day 243: I managed to tire her out again. That’s not easy to do. Nala is a very active puppy

Day 244: Work tonight meant pushing carts because we were understaffed again.

Day 245: Lunch date today. Greg picked me up for lunch while I was working. We went to Panda Express.

Day 246: And, again, pushing carts.

Day 247: A lazy Sunday and we ended up at Vines and Rushes Winery in Ripon for a little wine tasting.

Day 248: Monday is softball night. We usually go to watch our church softball teams play.

Day 249: I actually ate healthy at work today. It’s so easy to just grab something at the deli that is fried or fatty.

Day 250: I took the day off of work to go to the night air show at EAA Airventure. We saw one plane and then it started raining and storming. The show was cancelled.

Project 365, Days 231-240

Day 231: My husband has been doing more cleaning. This time, it was the bedroom

Day 232: Sometimes, we have a little fun at work. Like, when giant dinosaur heads for an upcoming movie release make their way up to the service desk

Day 233: We went to Elkhart Lake today and walked around the huge resort area.

Day 234: One of Nala’s favorite things to do when I get home is to take off my socks. She then has to run around the house with my socks, making it difficult for me to find them when I need them.

Day 235: Even though we live in town, we still occasionally see deer, like these that wandered onto the school soccer field.

Day 236: A beautiful sunset over the lake

Day 237: Nala still loves her little bed. Every once in a while she calms down enough to sleep.

Day 238: Nala got a new haircut. This is her summer cut, very short to keep her from getting too hot.

Day 239: After¬† rough night at work and my husband falling asleep and not picking me up, my son came to rescue me and took me to Applebee’s. He even paid for it.

Day 240: This week we went to Kohler Andre State Park in Sheboygan. The main attraction at this state park is the beach on Lake Michigan.

Project 365, Days 221-230

Days 221, 222, 223: All three of these photos show how happy our dogs were to have us home after a long (in their minds) vacation. They will not leave my side at all.

Day 224: It’s been so hot around here. One of our local grocery stores is offering it’s customers free cold bottles of water while they shop. I think this is a great idea.

Day 225: I came home from work to a nice surprise. My hubby got rid of an old, ugly chair and cleaned the dining/living room. Yea!!

Day 226: A couple of boxes are all that’s left of my daughter’s stuff in her room. She moved out a couple of weeks ago, but it didn’t really hit me until today. My baby has left the nest to try “adulting’

Day 227: I decided to clean the carpets today. This is the water that come out of the carpets. I think they needed to be cleaned. Yuk!!

Day 228: One of my jobs at work it to make sure there are carts available for the customers. Our cart pusher had trouble today keeping the rows nice and neat but at least there were carts.

Day 229: July 4th: Nala does not like fireworks. This is how she tried to hide from them.

Day 230: Time for new nails
