Project 365, Days 331-340

Day 331: I took Nala to the dog park to play with a friend’s dog. Nala and Roxy had so much fun. She then slept for hours at home.

Day 332: This bug, whatever it is, is hanging out on my phone charging cord. Nala is barking at it

Day 333: New nails to celebrate the Brewers in the playoffs.

Day 334: Roland fell asleep; Nala felt the need to keep him company.

Day 335: While reading a book, I came across this little typo. Notice the last line. “Their was a grim light in”. It should be “There was a grim light”. One of my pet peeves as a former English teacher

Day 336: Our pick-up today mascot has had a rough day. We all feel like this some days.

Day 337: A windy day means lots of waves crashing on shore. It’s also going to mean a mess on the lawn to clean up.

Day 338: Just look at that adorable face

Day 339: This is where I am spending my day. I’m sick, so I am hanging out on the couch, watching Doctor Who

Day 340: It’s a bit warmer today so the ladybugs are back. That’s one good thing about cold weather. The bugs stay away.

Project 365, Days 321-330

Day 321: Doctor Who marathon continues. I love this episode. It’s so sad.

Day 322: Never leave cookies on the table when going to work. They will be destroyed by a puppy by the time you get home.

Day 323: Why is there a slice of cucumber on the floor?

Day 324: Greg has been working on growing his mustache. I admit, I didn’t take this picture because he’s in Chicago, but I’m using it anyway

Day 325: We made a quick trip to Chicago to pick up Greg’s car.

Day 326: Other random things found on my floor: my reading glasses. Not sure who to blame for this, but Nala is one of the possibilities

Day 327: She loves to be near me. Her bed is right by my computer so she will curl up and wait for me to be done.

Day 328: This guy is part of our store’s pick up today Halloween decor

Day 329: Some of my co-workers like me. Sometimes they buy me stuff to keep me happy

Day 330: Our neighbors are burning their leaves and the very thick smoke is filling our yard and our house. It’s becoming impossible to breathe.

Project 365, Days 311-320

Day 311: Loving my new nails

Day 312: I had to go to a 2 day training seminar in Milwaukee for work. They put me up in a hotel, so I got to hang out and relax and watch a Doctor Who marathon. Two of us went and we each got our own room.

Day 313: Second day of the training, we tried Five Guys burgers. Good food and lots of it.

Day 314: Little Nala missed me while I was gone. According to my hubby, she sat for hours on the rug by the door waiting for me. She’s now very happy, playing with the toy I bought for her.

Day 315: Nala, sitting so proper. She looks so innocent, but we all know she’s not.

Day 316: Please, will you stop working on your computer and play with me?

Day 317: She’s been digging here on the couch for a long time. Maybe someone should tell her she’s not going to get very far.

Day 318: A gloomy fall day

Day 319: Nala got a haircut today. At least for a few minutes she’s clean and tangle-free

Day 320: I have to be to work early today, so I got to enjoy the sunrise.

Project 365, Day 301-310

Day 301: The first stop on our camping trip was to Cave Point County Park. Lake Michigan crashes into the shore causing caves to form all along the rocks. This one is called the Devil’s Bathtub.

Day 302: We camped in Peninsula State Park and went for a hike on Eagle Trail. In some areas, the trail was almost impossible to find. In others, it was slippery from the waves crashing on shore. The scenery was beautiful.

Day 303: I first came to Door County 25 years ago and have been back several times since then. This was the first time I’ve seen the goats on the roof of Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant.

Day 304: Right before we left, we had a slight mishap with one of our cars.

Day 305: Home again, this is the view while taking Nala for a walk

Day 306: Sometimes, I crave weird things, like Easy Cheese. It’s not really cheese and has no nutrition, but it tasted good for some reason.

Day 307: Another walk for Nala. She tends to take me for a walk, instead of the other way aorund

Day 308: The spot in the trail is a deer that walked along in front of us as we were on our nightly walk

Day 309: Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day than today

Day 310: A sunset walk with Roland and Nala

Project 365, Days 291-300

Day 291: It was a soup kind of day. Loaded baked potato soup, to be exact

Day 292: Beautiful sunset

Day 293: Nala went for a walk and ended up wading a bit into the lake. I now have a cold, wet pupper

Day 294: Sunrise today. I prefer to sleep through sunrises and view sunsets, but I have to work early, so it’s a sunrise day

Day 295: Nala loves car rides, especially when we let her stick her head out of the window.

Day 296: Dance at our church’s annual worship celebration

Day 297: Nala got a bath and now looks rather sad and pathetic.

Day 298: I cleaned out our freezer today. It was way past time and it’s so nice to actually have room in the freezer for the stuff that’s supposed to be there

Day 299: Mosquitoes are horrible this year, because of all the rain we’ve gotten. They are getting into the house by the hundreds.

Day 300: The mosquitoes are so bad in the house, I have to wear this mosquito repellent bracelet.

Project 365, Days 281-290

Day 281:  Please, mom? May have a bite of your food? I’m really hungry. It’s been at least 15 minutes since I ate

Day 282: It’s a dark, dreary, rainy Sunday

Day 283: The rain yesterday revealed a leak around our kitchen window. It caused a bubble in our paint and did some damage to the drywall under it. Time for some repairs

Day 284: Time for some new nails. I love these cat’s eye nails

Day 285: Sunset at work

Day 286: She does this when she sees her reflection in the window. She’ll sit like this for a long time, trying to figure out who the other dog is

Day 287: Attacking the killer cow slipper. It’s one of her favorite toys

Day 288: My mother-in-law had a small party for her 90th birthday. I made this cake for the occasion. I think it turned out very nice

Day 289: The immediate family at the birthday party

Day 290: The whole group that got together for the 90th birthday party

Project 365, Days 271-280

Day 271: After work, we went to hear the Kids From Wisconsin concert in the park. The theme this year was Broadway musicals. It was so much fun.

Day 272: Somebody goofed. Green Bay Raiders? I think not

Day 273: Another evening spent doing someone else’s job–pushing carts again

Day 274: Summer is over for Greg. He’s loading up his car and heading back to Chicago for another semester at Moody Bible Institute.

Day 275: This weekend we went to a water ski show in Beaver Dam, We’ve thought about going in the past, but this was the first time we actually  went.

Day 276: It’s tomato season

Day 277: All the tomatoes were turned into sauce today. It smells so good in the house right now

Day 278: She loves having this window open so she can bark at all the squirrels running through our backyard.

Day 279: The carts are supposed to be in nice, neat rows. Evidently, somebody didn’t get that message. This is how they looked when I got to work today.

Day 280: Please, may I have some of your food?
