Project 365, Days 61-80

Day 61: Time to make yogurt

Day 62: This is what happens when I try to workout. Nala decides to “help”

Day 63: Nala is having a slight static electricity problem with her ears today

Day 64: It’s really cold today. Nala has found the perfect spot to keep warm

Day 65: Blizzard likes sleeping on my pillow. The problem is that he doesn’t like to give it up when I want to sleep

Day 66: It’s starting to snow. We’re supposed to get quite a bit of it this week.

Day 67: The dogs, especially Nala, love the snow. She doesn’t want to come in

Day 68: I’ve been eating healthy all month. But, sometimes pizza is a good choice.

Day 69: The temperatures aren’t getting above zero degrees. It’s so cold in the store that I need hand warmers just to do my job.

Day 70: It’s so cold that snow on the rug in front of our door (inside the house) isn’t melting. This snow is from over 12 hours ago

Day 71: We picked up Janelle’s car from the repairman. I think he forgot to fix something.

Day 72: Another week, another blizzard, with more cold predicted to follow it

Day 73: Yes, that is the actual temperature. Not wind chill.

Day 74: Today was one of those days where at least half the store called in because of weather. So. management bought donuts for those of us that showed up to work.

Day 75: New nails for Valentines Day

Day 76: Nala got a much needed haircut. Because of the cold, she now gets to wear this adorable sweatshirt to keep warm outside.

Day 77: Showing off her new haircut and her new collar. Plus, a little mess around her mouth from eating human food

Day 78: She knows she’s not allowed to eat off my plate, so this is what she is doing. How close can she get?

Day 79: Janelle is adulting. That means she is making her own doctor’s appointments. She’s not happy about it.

Day 80: Not really a photo, but I had to screenshot this Facebook post of my oldest. He’s officially in a relationship. This mama is thrilled.

Project 365, Days 101-110

Day 101: I am actually eating healthy today at work. I, unfortunately, don’t do that often enough.

Day 102: My late night life–driving home from work at midnight, waiting for a train. SO much excitement.

Day 103: We have open water on the lake and that means geese. Lots and lots of geese. They’re all in the lake at the moment, but soon they will be all over the lawn.

Day 104: One of these days I am going to remember to put an ice scraper in my car so I don’t have to sit and wait for the defrost to clear my windshield.

Day 105: We went to pick up Greg for spring break. His one food request was ice cream from Kelley’s Creamery. An excellent choice.

Day 106: My fortune cookie has a sense of humor

Day 107: Nala spent a long time this morning dragging my coat off the chair and bringing it to me. Not sure what she is trying to tell me. Maybe she doesn’t want me home?

Day 108: More snow. Forecasters originally had a fairly large amount predicted but thankfully that isn’t happening. Just enough to remind us that it’s still winter in Wisconsin.

Day 109: Flocks of geese have now found our lawn.

Day 110: Time for new nails. I went really fancy and got a jewel put on today.

Project 365, Days 71-80

Day 71: Only I could break a nail two days after getting them done while closing the bathroom stall door.

Day 72: We went to see Phantom of the Opera at the Fireside Theater in Fort Atkinson. Great show and great food.

Day 73: I do not know what she is doing. No clue. I’m not even sure she knows.

Day 74: One of my bullet journal layouts for February

Day 75: Please, may I have your popcorn? I really like it. I promise, if you turn your head away for a second or two, I will grab the bowl and run away with it so you won’t have to watch me eat it.

Day 76: What do you think of my hiding spot? Nobody will find me here.

Day 77: It’s supposed to get cold and snowy. Maybe I better fill my gas tank before the weather turns nasty.

Day 78: And…here comes the nasty weather. I have no window scraper in my car, so I get to sit and wait for the defrost to clean off the windshield so I can drive home

Day 79: Nala loves to it right behind me and “help” when I am working on the laptop

Day 80: Test time in geology class

Project 365, Days 31-40

In an effort to get caught up with my photos, I’m posting 10 today in a different format.

31) Walmart, where I spend much of my time. Today was an unexpected shift. Somebody called in sick, so I was asked to cover. A little overtime never hurts the budget.
32) Time for a manicure. Janelle brought Nala to visit while I was getting my nails done since everybody in the office was in on the surprise of her arrival in our family.
33) Janelle broke her toe at church on Sunday. She was doing a stretching move and hit the wall with her foot. Good thing her dance studio is on Christmas break for the next couple weeks.
34) My new nails
35) We do manage to have fun at work. Ugly Christmas sweater for 2 anyone?
36) Some mornings, I am greeted with a lot of work when I arrive to start my shift. Where do all these “unwants” come from?
37) We went to Wisconsin Dells for Christmas this year. Spent Christmas Eve relaxing by the pool, soaking in the hot tub and spending time as a family.
38) After getting home, we spent the evening playing games. One of Greg’s favorites is Ticket to Ride.
39) It’s way too cold this morning to be out and about. Unfortunately, I have to work, so here I am.
40) Look at that adorable, dirty face. She’s always sticking her nose in things, so her face is permanently dirty.

Project 365, Days 21-25

Day 21:  The first snow of the year met me when I got off work tonight. Even though it looks like a lot of snow, it didn’t really amount to a whole lot.

Day 22: The Christmas tree went up today. I think it’s our best tree ever.

Day 23: More decorating, this time the mantel

Day 24: Fun in co-op class. These two have been friends for years.

Day 25: Nala is too small to get up on our bed, so I made her a little step so she can sleep on the bed with me.
