Project 365, Days 361-365

Day 361: Today was my 4 year anniversary at Walmart. Nobody at the store said anything, but at least the computer knew.

Day 362: It’s been cold long enough now for the lake to start freezing

Day 363: Today was Eric’s 24th birthday. I don’t have a picture from today of him, so this one from this summer will have to do

Day 364: I found the perfect ugly sweater for my ex-farmer husband

Day 365: This is the way the service desk is supposed to look every night. The only thing missing is the person who is supposed to be working here. Not sure what happened to her, but at least the desk looks good.

That ends a whole year of photos. Stay tuned for another year.

Project 365, Days 341-350

Day 341: Nala must be cold today. She’s staying curled up in the blanket

Day 342: It’s Janelle’s birthday today. I’m using a picture I took earlier this year since I don’t see her everyday to take new ones. My baby is 19.

Day 343: Nala loves to help me mop the floor. And by help, I mean roll around on the wet floor until it dries.

Day 344: It looks like it might be time to rake some leaves.

Day 345: This is where she sits while I am at my desk.

Day 346: It goose season. We frequently have geese coming up on our lawn.

Day 347: I turned my back and Nala stole my pizza.

Day 348: I think somebody wants to play ball

Day 349: I don’t usually post any type of profanity or such, but this time I couldn’t help myself. This is what I found on the bathroom wall at work. Why do people find it necessary to do this? Regardless of your political views, this is not right and not the right way to get your message across.

Day 350: I got a new hoodie, in honor of the Brewers excellent season this year. Didn’t make the World Series, but they had a great year.

Project 365, Days 321-330

Day 321: Doctor Who marathon continues. I love this episode. It’s so sad.

Day 322: Never leave cookies on the table when going to work. They will be destroyed by a puppy by the time you get home.

Day 323: Why is there a slice of cucumber on the floor?

Day 324: Greg has been working on growing his mustache. I admit, I didn’t take this picture because he’s in Chicago, but I’m using it anyway

Day 325: We made a quick trip to Chicago to pick up Greg’s car.

Day 326: Other random things found on my floor: my reading glasses. Not sure who to blame for this, but Nala is one of the possibilities

Day 327: She loves to be near me. Her bed is right by my computer so she will curl up and wait for me to be done.

Day 328: This guy is part of our store’s pick up today Halloween decor

Day 329: Some of my co-workers like me. Sometimes they buy me stuff to keep me happy

Day 330: Our neighbors are burning their leaves and the very thick smoke is filling our yard and our house. It’s becoming impossible to breathe.

Project 365, Days 311-320

Day 311: Loving my new nails

Day 312: I had to go to a 2 day training seminar in Milwaukee for work. They put me up in a hotel, so I got to hang out and relax and watch a Doctor Who marathon. Two of us went and we each got our own room.

Day 313: Second day of the training, we tried Five Guys burgers. Good food and lots of it.

Day 314: Little Nala missed me while I was gone. According to my hubby, she sat for hours on the rug by the door waiting for me. She’s now very happy, playing with the toy I bought for her.

Day 315: Nala, sitting so proper. She looks so innocent, but we all know she’s not.

Day 316: Please, will you stop working on your computer and play with me?

Day 317: She’s been digging here on the couch for a long time. Maybe someone should tell her she’s not going to get very far.

Day 318: A gloomy fall day

Day 319: Nala got a haircut today. At least for a few minutes she’s clean and tangle-free

Day 320: I have to be to work early today, so I got to enjoy the sunrise.

Project 365, Days 271-280

Day 271: After work, we went to hear the Kids From Wisconsin concert in the park. The theme this year was Broadway musicals. It was so much fun.

Day 272: Somebody goofed. Green Bay Raiders? I think not

Day 273: Another evening spent doing someone else’s job–pushing carts again

Day 274: Summer is over for Greg. He’s loading up his car and heading back to Chicago for another semester at Moody Bible Institute.

Day 275: This weekend we went to a water ski show in Beaver Dam, We’ve thought about going in the past, but this was the first time we actually  went.

Day 276: It’s tomato season

Day 277: All the tomatoes were turned into sauce today. It smells so good in the house right now

Day 278: She loves having this window open so she can bark at all the squirrels running through our backyard.

Day 279: The carts are supposed to be in nice, neat rows. Evidently, somebody didn’t get that message. This is how they looked when I got to work today.

Day 280: Please, may I have some of your food?

Project 365, Days 261-270

Day 261: Sunset over the lake

Day 262: We spent the day at the State Fair. We saw the sights and saw Matthew West and Casting Crowns in concert. This Ferris Wheel dominated the view as we were leaving after the concert

Day 263: Was told by a manager tonight that the parking lot was a mess and that I needed to get cashiers outside immediately to get all the carts in. This is what the lot looked like. Where’s the mess?

Day 264: It is going to be a long shift. A little caffeine never hurts, does it?

Day 265: I came home from work tonight, only a couple of short days before a party is happening here, to see this. The toilet is in the middle of the bathroom. Not exactly what I wanted to see. But, I’m told it’s an easy fix and will be fully operational tomorrow.

Day 266: I felt the need to get my nails looking good before the party.

Day 267: These two girls spent the day at the house getting everything ready for their graduation party tomorrow. It’s going to be a fun day

Day 268: Two Beautiful graduates. All grown up and ready to take on the world.

Day 269: As I was putting all the party supplies away, I stubbed my toe. I think it might be broken.

Day 270: It’s confirmed. Broken toe. I am now the proud wearer of this stylish boot.

Project 365, Days 251-260

Day 251: Time again for some new nails

Day 252: It’s this guy’s 22 birthday. He’s home for the summer but soon will be heading back to Chicago for another year of school.

Day 253: Rest and relaxation time for Nala

Day 254: This little girl is getting so much better at walking on a leash. She love walk time

Day 255: After a walk, what’s better than a nap? She’s great at sleeping in strange positions

Day 256: A customer came in tonight upset about all the big spiders outside the store. This is one of the three I could find. It’s only about a 1/4 inch, so I don’t know if these are the ones the customer meant. I hope there’s nothing bigger out there. I hate spiders.

Day 257: I’m not sure what I came in contact with, but I have this rash in several places. It itches a lot.

Day 258: When I wake up from a nap on the couch and Nala also decided to nap, this is the view I get.

Day 259: I’m not the only one who like to take a nap on the couch.

Day 260: At work, we sometimes have our “ducks in a row”
