Project 365, Days 61-70

Days 61 & 62: I decided to try out using a bullet journal this year. These two pictures are two of the pages I am using.  I’m not overly artistic or creative, so I adapted layouts I found onine. Stay tuned for updates on this endeavor.

Day 63:  My lunch at work today. Look at all that nutrition–not!! I think I really need to start eating healtier.

Day 64: Nala got into the chili today and is now wearing a tomato mustache. She’s a quick little thing.

Day 65: Even Roland loves playing with Nala.

Day 66: It was warm today. So warm and rainy that our yard is flooded. This is only one of many puddles.

Day 67: New nails again. I love the cat’s eye polish

Day 68: We have some unique stuffed animals for Valentines Day at Walmart this year. Nothing says “I love you” like a stuffed camel.

Day 69: I may never wash this hand again. I shook hands with the great former Packer player George Koonce

Day 70: One more of the unique animals. I am in love with this sloth.

Project 365, Days 51-60

I am so far behind in posting these. How does time slip away so easily?

Day 51: That’s a normal face for my little Nala. She loves playing in her water dish and her face is always wet because of it.

Day 52: This is what the floor looks like every day because Nala loves to play in her water.

Day 53: She’s trying so hard to be patient and wait for whatever treat might be coming her way.

Day 54: Tried this candy bar today at work. Was not impressed. Give me chocolate any day

Day 55: Nala has the annoying habit of scratching at Janelle’s door whenever she feels like playing with somebody, even if it’s 2:00 am. Janelle came up with this solution tonight to prevent her sleep from getting interrupted. I think I will buy a baby/puppy gate for her.

Day 56: It is so cold here right now. With the doors in the front of the store constantly opening all day, it is cold in the store. I have resorted to putting hand warmers in my pockets to help keep warm.

Day 57: Sleepy puppy

Day 58: Dinner out today with Roland and Janelle.

Day 59: Sitting in the parking lot after work. Waiting for a ride because my battery is dead.

Day 60: She just had a bath and a haircut. She’s looking much smaller and fluffier.

Project 365, Days 41-50

41) Watch me grow. Nala is now 4 months old and getting bigger everyday, although half of her size is probably fur.

42) The result of playing with Nala–small cuts and bites where she misses the target she’s aiming for and ends up grabbing my hand instead of her toy.

43) Would anybody really buy these and wear them? They don’t look very manly to me

44) I had a little fun with Snapchat filters to welcome the new year. Happy 2018 everybody.

45) We finally had our turkey dinner. Due to a series of unfortunate events, turkey never happened on Thanksgiving. I promised Greg that I would make turkey before he goes to college. Since that is only 3 days away and I didn’t have to work today, today was turkey day.

46) Only I could break a nail while locking the bathroom stall door at work.

47) New nails. I love these. Definitely one of my favorites.

48) We brought Greg to college today, Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. This is the view from his dorm room.

49) Unlike Greg’s great view, this is my view today. Doing CBLs at work. In other words, trying to stay awake while learning about fire extinguishers and other safety issues.

50) Tony at work thinks he’s funny. He put locks on all of our water and soda bottles so we had to work a bit harder to get a drink.

Project 365, Days 6-10

Day 6: Thanksgiving Day. Our family dinner didn’t go quite as planned. Our turkey ended up ruined so we had ham. I finally got my turkey dinner at work later that night. One of the benefits of working at Walmart on Thanksgiving–free turkey dinner.

Day 7: After working the Black Friday rush, sometime after midnight, we get a bit silly at work. Or, maybe it’s just exhaustion. Hard to tell sometimes.

Day 8: This is her “I’m sorry face”. She got a hold of my glasses and chewed them. They are still wearable, but I will need to get new ones. How can I stay mad at that face?

Day 9: The things I find when my son is home. It seems he’s picked up a new habit.

Day 10: Watching TV with 2 dogs and my favorite Packer blanket–just what the doctor ordered when I’m not feeling well.
